Product Description
Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate white crystal
Product introduction
Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate (Formula MgSO4·7H2O), also known as sulfur and bitter, bitter salt, diarrhea salt, Epsom salt, is white or colorless needle or oblique columnar crystal, odorless, cool and bitter, molecular weight: 246.47, Specific gravity 1.68, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and glycerol, soluble in its own crystal water at 67.5 °C. Thermal decomposition, 70, 80 °C is the loss of four molecules of crystal water. About 200°C loses all of the water of crystallization into anhydrides. In the air (dry), it is easily weathered into a powder, and when heated, it gradually dehydrates and turns into anhydrous magnesium sulfate. This product does not contain any toxic impurities. Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, because it is not easily soluble, is easier to weigh than anhydrous magnesium sulfate, facilitating quantitative control in the industry. Cas No. :10034-99-8 Molecular Formula:MgSO4.7(H2O) Product Categories:Inorganic Chemicals Product specification
